Paul Reeves

Paul Reeves began collecting British furniture and artefacts over forty years ago. He opened his first shop in 1976 dealing in items from the 19th and 20th centuries. He was previously a successful clothing designer with premises on London's Fulham Rd. Until the opening of the current gallery on London's Kensington Church Street in 1981 he also designed interiors for select clients, echoing the decorative philosophy of the design movements which he so admired.

Today the business continues to focus on selling to private collectors and museums, items produced by the leading figures of the design-world of late nineteenth and twentieth century Britain. Since the business was established many major works by the pre-eminent architects, artists and designers of the period have been rediscovered, researched and marketed.

This website has recently been expanded and updated to show selected items from a large stock. It is not our intention to show everything that we have for sale - in particular, some of the more expensive and rare items are not featured. However, we welcome enquiries concerning specific pieces that you may be looking for, or more general enquiries relating to furnishing requirements.

We are always keen to purchase interesting items but regret that we cannot give valuations over the internet.
